Each listing has a move-in deposit. That's the amount that is held on the prospective renter's card in order to take the listing off the market and get the application process started. 

When a booking is requested the listing owner has 3 days to review the candidate and decide if they want to move forward. If they don't do anything, the request will expire and the hold will be removed from the renter's card. 

If the listing owner accepts the request then Flip will hold the funds in escrow until the lease has started and keys have been shared.  Note - You might see that your deposit is "under review" even after you have both requested a release. That just means that our team is doing one final check to make sure everything is good to go and everyone is being honest :)
